WorldQuest is a challenging international group trivia contest. ACWA invited students from area colleges to play against teams from Kent State University, The University of Akron and Ashland University. The event was held April 11, 2008, at the Hilton Akron/Fairlawn in Ohio.

Team placing #1: The University of Akron Political Science B-Team - Josh Petersen, Thomas G. Panagopoulos III, Rayeed Rayeh, Greg Milo, Michelle R. Newman, and Alan Minor. The team answered 52 of 69 questions accruately (75%).
Team placing #2: Ashland University - Front row: Sarah Muse, Rachel Vick and Narine Dallakyan; Back Row: Oscar Thoniasson, Bobby DeSeyn, Amine Gharbi, Erik Hakansson, A.F.M Mainul Ahsan. The team answered 49 of 69 questions accruately (71%).

Trivial pursuit question categories were Current Events, People in the News, General Knowledge, Places Around the Globe, Georgraphy and History and Flags of Countries. Questions focused on global events within the previous six months, taken from major media coverage.
Winners received trophies. All participants received WorldQuest 2008 t-shirts.
